LOUISE MÜLLER

HUMAN BIOLOGIST WITH A TWIST

Louise is a freelance science writer and illustrator with a broad background from the human biological and medical sciences. In combining her passion for science with her interest in art and creative design she has created a unique cross-over universe in which her skills can be applied.

Her solid scientific background builds on a Bachelor's degree in Medicine from Aarhus University and a Master's degree in Human Biology from the University of Copenhagen. She has spent three years working in cancer immunology research and completed her PhD at the University of Leeds in 2019.

Louise's expertise is creative scientific writing, which can be applied to both the medical communications, peer, and lay audience. She also has experience as a print and online editor, and instructional designer within e-learning. In addition to this, Louise is exploring the world of watercolour and gouache in a science context. Scientific illustration and graphic design projects will soon be available for commission, as well as in the science giftware web shop where personally designed items will be on offer.

Originally from Sweden, Louise is currently based in Ireland, enjoying the quiet countryside together with her boyfriend. Spare time is spent exploring new artistic media, traveling near and far, mountain hiking, and discovering new types of hummous.
